Monthly Favourites – Jan 2017

Welcome to the first edition of my monthly favourites. A wrap-up of all things I’m loving for the month. I think this is a great way to end January 2017 as I try to further cosyrumah as a platform.

Bullet journaling –

Last month, as I was looking for a new planner for the new year, I tried looking into bullet journaling. A month later and I can say that so far it has been great for me, above all else – functional and practical. I keep mine quite minimal mainly because I don’t have that much time to spare being creative and doodling (or more because I lack creative genes). Overall, the objective of a #bujo is to make it work with your lifestyle and needs. Best thing of all is that I am in control of how I shape my #bujo and I love it!

My industrial-cafe inspired lights –

It was honestly love at first sight the moment I laid my eyes on these babies. I knew I had to get it and it fit perfectly with what I was aiming for in the house. I mean, how can you not love this?

Colour: Blue Carpet by Nippon

I recently painted (all by myself) one of my feature walls this colour and am absolutely in love with it. I think grey walls are a perfect neutral that add some depth to a room. The thing is, I’ve also been eyeing a lot of navy blues recently. This colour hit the spot for me – the perfect shade of grey with blue undertones depending on the lighting.

Vivienne’s Apartment Tour

I personally adore this apartment tour mainly because it’s based in Singapore and I can relate to it. Her balcony is something I envision my balcony to look like – that perfect mix of local, tropical and boho. Vivienne says that she’s travelled a lot and I can personally relate. Her home is a reflection of her lifestyle and travels I truly believe. The only sad thing is I wish there were more pictures 😦

To wrap things up, I want to share a collection of my top five favourite interior décor pictures I’ve been loving for this month. You’ll notice a certain theme going on, I can’t help it if I feel blue –

The two stunning bathrooms designed by Ardesia Design. Those pale blue tiles are simply gorgeous. It gives a beautiful touch to an otherwise simple, bright and airy white bathroom.

Carylson Young’s stunning navy blue feature wall bedroom.

Check out their amazing loft as well, it’s very eclectic.
